This is an arrangement for 6-part flute ensemble of the Kyrie from Palestrina's Missa Papae Marcelli, composed in 1562. The mass as a whole is an excellent example of renaissance polyphony, and the equality of the parts makes it ideal for a flute ensemble of similar-level players.
