Schubert - Arpeggione Sonata

Schubert (1797-1828) Arpeggione Sonata (1824)
Arranged for Alto Flute and Piano by Carla Rees

There are many arrangements of this sonata for various instruments, most notably cello, viola and flute, and it has always seemed that the piece would be well suited to the alto flute. This arrangement has been made with consultation of a number of sources, including a facsimile of the composer’s manuscript.
